Competition for business students to develop Pharma technologies

The Foundation for MSME Clusters, the non-government organisation and the implementing agency of the Promoting Innovation Clusters (PIC) programme of the Department of Science and Technology (DST), in collaboration with the Indian School of Business (ISB), Hyderabad will soon commence a competition for business students in the country to develop business plans for new technologies in pharmaceutical and medical devices segments.

The objective is to encourage the business students to come up with effective plans for innovations in these sectors on the one hand while the competition will also make the new technologies more entrepreneur-friendly. The technologies for competition will be shortlisted by the foundation, whereas ISB would identify and select student teams from all over India and organise the competition, according to an expert from the foundation.
