Good judgement by District Court of The Hague explaining inventive step

Recently District Court of The Hague has given a judgement in a case between Sandoz and Glaxo regarding a combination patent owned by Glaxo.

Sandoz requested revocation of Glaxo’s combination patent and supplementary protection certificate (“SPC”) for a composition containing the beta-agonist salmeterol and the corticosteroid fluticasone proprionate for simultaneous inhalation in the treatment of respiratory diseases mainly asthma.

Generic Wellbutrin XL is launched by Mylan

Wellbutrin XL is the brand name drug of GlaxoSmitkline having active ingredient Bupropion hydrochloride in extended release form.
Mylan pharmaceuticals has launched the 150 mg and 300 mg once daily tablets, generic version of Wellbutrin XL in US market on 1st october.
