The Kolkata based Academy of Pharmacy Management & Guidance in collaboration with All India Chemists and Distributors Federation has started a new initiative in term of a six months diploma course for persons working or intending to work in medical stores without a formal qualification of pharmacist. The objective of this Course is to impart basic knowledge and understanding about medicines and pharmacy practices to salesmen working in a medical shop. The Course is focused on three areas namely basics of pharmacy & pharmacology, kinds & nature of diseases and public health system & jurisprudence.
