Intas pharmaceutical is set to enter capital market witrh giant IPO
Intas Pharmaceuticals, a Rs.1,600 crore pharma giant from Ahmedabad, has decided to enter capital market in May next year to raise Rs.750-800 crore through public issue. This will help to raise fresh funds for acquisitions besides allowing private equity (PE) investor ChrysCapital to partly exit, a top company executive said to Chronicle Pharmabiz.
Intas is looking to sell around 15 per cent stake that will value it over Rs.5,000 crore. The issue, expected around May next year, will be the biggest in the pharma sector in several years.
